About the Job
None Company is seeking a highly motivated and creative *Head of Design
- (Job Title: testthu) to join our team on a **contract*
- basis. This unique role is perfect for an ambitious individual with **1 year of professional design experience*
- who is ready to take ownership of our design vision and execution. While this position does not involve direct people management, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing the overall design strategy, ensuring a cohesive and exceptional user experience across all our products and platforms. You will act as a lead individual contributor, shaping our aesthetic and functional direction from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall design vision, strategy, and roadmap for None Company's products and services.
- Lead the end-to-end design process from concept to execution, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all design outputs.
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.
- Champion user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and design tools to ensure our design approach remains cutting-edge.
- Present and articulate design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
- Act as the primary design expert, guiding all design-related decisions and ensuring high-quality output.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1+ year of professional experience in UX/UI design, product design, or a similar role, demonstrating a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of design projects and drive them from inception to completion independently.
- Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about design challenges.
- Experience working in an agile or fast-paced development environment.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience establishing or contributing to a design system.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand design feasibility.
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-designers.
- Proactive and self-driven with a desire to make a significant impact in a foundational design role.
- Experience in a startup or early-stage company environment.
