About the Job
UCtalent is seeking a passionate and driven part-time *testthu
- (UI/UX Designer) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will contribute to the design of intuitive and engaging user experiences for our products. With 1 year of experience, you will assist in various stages of the design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation support. This is a remote-friendly position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to grow your skills within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting user research and gathering requirements to understand user needs and pain points.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and deliver mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Participate in usability testing sessions, collect feedback, and iterate on design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure design consistency and feasibility.
- Maintain and contribute to existing design systems and style guides.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design projects and understanding of design principles.
- 1 year of professional experience in UI/UX design or a similar role.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Basic understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with responsive design for various screen sizes and devices.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid work setup.
