About the Job
As a QAQC Manager at Hitachi Vietnam, you will play a crucial role in upholding and enhancing our commitment to excellence. This individual contributor position is designed for a highly motivated professional with foundational experience in quality assurance and quality control. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality standards and processes to ensure that our products, services, and projects meet the highest quality specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Your expertise will be vital in identifying areas for improvement, preventing defects, and driving continuous quality enhancement across our operations in Vietnam. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to quality management.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) plans, procedures, and standards in alignment with Hitachi's global policies and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance reviews of processes, products, and services to ensure compliance with established quality criteria and specifications.
  • Identify non-conformities, analyze root causes, and work with relevant teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and prepare detailed quality reports for management, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to integrate quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all documentation related to quality processes, inspections, and audits is meticulously maintained and readily accessible.
  • Provide guidance and support on quality-related matters, fostering a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Stay updated with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management methodologies to ensure Hitachi Vietnam's practices remain cutting-edge.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control functions, preferably within a manufacturing, IT, or infrastructure project environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights for quality improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to apply systematic approaches to root cause analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex quality issues and propose solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively without direct supervisory responsibilities over people.
Preferred Requirement
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams.
  • Experience in the specific industry relevant to Hitachi Vietnam's operations (e.g., industrial systems, IT solutions, energy, railway systems).
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication in a multinational environment.
  • Experience with Quality Management Software (QMS) or other relevant enterprise systems.
