About the Job
tes company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst with 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. In this full-time individual contributor role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions for our internal projects and product development. You will support various initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements to ensure successful project delivery and contribute to our continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define business requirements and functional specifications for software solutions and process improvements.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), assisting development and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and met.
- Support testing activities, including the development of test cases and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
- Facilitate effective communication between business units and technical teams, serving as a key liaison.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1 year of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Preferred Requirement
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Prior experience working in a technology-driven company or startup environment.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., ECBA, CCBA) are a plus.
