About the Job
As an Analytics Manager at Hitachi Vietnam, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This is an individual contributor role, ideal for a highly motivated professional with a strong foundation in data analytics and a passion for problem-solving. You will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical solutions, identifying key trends, and providing data-driven recommendations across various business functions. Your expertise will be vital in supporting Hitachi Vietnam's continuous growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
- Develop and implement analytical models, reports, and dashboards using various data tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical requirements.
- Present complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all analytical initiatives.
- Support the development of data strategies and contribute to the improvement of data infrastructure.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on key business indicators.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and business optimization through data insights.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar data-centric role.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Foundational knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization principles.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data analysis, such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and predictive modeling techniques.
- Prior experience in the IT services, manufacturing, energy, or financial services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver impactful insights.
- Experience in managing analytical projects from conception to completion.
