About the Job
UCTalent Labs is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Uctalent Tester Coti to join our innovative team. This full-time, entry-level position is designed for individuals with 0 years of experience who are passionate about data quality and eager to kickstart a career in analytics testing and assurance. As a Uctalent Tester Coti, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of our analytics systems and data products, with a specific focus on our proprietary Coti platform. You will work closely with analytics managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve issues, contributing directly to the success of UCTalent Labs' data-driven initiatives. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity for professional growth, mentorship, and hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases for analytics dashboards, reports, and data pipelines within the Coti platform.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using established bug tracking systems.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of analytical outputs.
- Collaborate with Analytics Managers and developers to understand requirements and technical specifications for testing.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results.
- Participate in review meetings to provide feedback on system design and functionality from a testing perspective.
- Learn and apply various testing methodologies and tools relevant to data and analytics.
- Support the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices within UCTalent Labs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
- 0 years of professional experience, recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for data quality, testing, and continuous learning.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Requirement
- Familiarity with basic SQL queries for data extraction and validation.
- Exposure to any data analysis, business intelligence (BI), or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel advanced functions).
- Understanding of fundamental software testing concepts and methodologies (e.g., functional testing, regression testing).
- Experience with academic projects or internships involving data manipulation, analysis, or quality assurance.
- A proactive attitude with a strong desire to take initiative and ownership of tasks.
