UCTalent is seeking a dedicated and skilled Test Automation Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the highest quality of our software products. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and/or API applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and QA teams to understand requirements and integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and report issues with clear, concise, and comprehensive descriptions.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, ensuring testability and quality.
- Continuously research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and strategies to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Advocate for quality assurance best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of our testing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of failures and work with development teams to resolve issues effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Test Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in designing and developing automated test scripts using at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
- Hands-on experience with popular test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriverIO, Appium, Postman).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with database testing and SQL queries.
- Contributions to open-source testing projects or active participation in QA communities.
- ISTQB certification or similar quality assurance certifications.
