Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of highly secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain protocols and decentralized applications (dApps).
- Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Binance Smart Chain).
- Implement advanced cryptographic primitives and consensus mechanisms.
- Conduct thorough security audits and penetration testing for smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure to ensure impregnable systems.
- Research and integrate cutting-edge blockchain technologies, layer-2 solutions, and cross-chain functionalities.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to translate complex ideas into robust, production-ready blockchain solutions.
- Optimize blockchain performance, gas efficiency, and transaction throughput.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging trends, security vulnerabilities, and advancements in the blockchain ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 1 year specifically focused on blockchain engineering.
- Demonstrable expertise in one or more blockchain programming languages (e.g., Solidity, Rust, Go, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript for Web3).
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including cryptographic principles, consensus algorithms (PoW, PoS), distributed ledger technologies, and smart contract architecture.
- Experience with development tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry, Web3.js, Ethers.js.
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- A strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for decentralized technologies.
Preferred Requirement
- Exceptional ability to conceptualize and execute innovative blockchain solutions from ideation to deployment.
- Experience with advanced blockchain topics such as zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), rollups (Optimistic/ZK), decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, NFTs, DAOs, or cross-chain bridges.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying and managing blockchain infrastructure.
- Active contributions to open-source blockchain projects or a strong portfolio showcasing personal blockchain projects.
- Deep understanding of security best practices in smart contract development and a track record of identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
