UCTalent is seeking a highly motivated and technically astute Junior Business Analyst to join our innovative team. As a key member of our product development cycle, you will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to define, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful software solutions. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and system capabilities, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable requirements for development teams.
- Create and maintain essential project documentation, including use cases, process flows, and data models.
- Facilitate communication and understanding between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Support the development team during the implementation phase by clarifying requirements and addressing queries.
- Assist in the prioritization of features and requirements based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business analysis and software development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 year of proven experience in a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role within a software development environment.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Basic understanding of SQL for data analysis and querying.
- Familiarity with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of prototyping or wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq, Axure).
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and understand system architecture at a high level.
- Any relevant professional certifications (e.g., ECBA, CSPO).
- Experience with process modeling notations (e.g., BPMN).
