ADFLY VIETNAM is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Node.js Developer with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This full-time, individual contributor role requires a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Node.js applications, while also building, deploying, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on GCP. This hybrid role demands a solid understanding of both application development and robust operational practices to ensure high-performance and reliable systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Node.js applications and APIs.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure on GCP, utilizing services like Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud SQL.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to manage GCP resources.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, implement logging and alerting solutions, and participate in incident response.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and operational efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline development and operations workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Node.js development, including building RESTful APIs.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools, specifically within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of core GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM).
- Proficiency with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Solid understanding of database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex application and infrastructure issues.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging).
- Knowledge of network configurations, security best practices, and performance tuning on GCP.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
