About the Job
bangcomp is looking for a talented and passionate Node.js Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh City. As a Fullstack Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications, contributing to both our front-end and back-end systems. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and enhance user experience. This role is ideal for an individual with at least 2 years of professional experience looking to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using Node.js for back-end services.
- Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices utilizing frameworks like NestJS and Express.js.
- Manage and optimize database interactions with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and extensive experience with Node.js.
- Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using React and Next.js.
- Demonstrated experience in building back-end services with NestJS and Express.js.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with PostgreSQL (relational database) and MongoDB (NoSQL database).
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment in Ho Chi Minh City.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Proven ability to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
