About the Job
FPT Information System (FPT IS) is looking for a driven and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst with 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, ensuring our projects deliver maximum value. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting business requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders and development teams, and contributing to the successful delivery of innovative IT solutions. This is an individual contributor role where you will directly impact project success.
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements from various stakeholders using a range of techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys, document analysis).
- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements specifications (e.g., BRD, SRS, user stories, use cases).
- Collaborate closely with technical teams (developers, QAs, architects) to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and provide necessary clarifications throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, data flow diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups to illustrate requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication between business users, project managers, and development teams.
- Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including test case review and defect management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the optimization of business operations.
- Assist in project planning, scope definition, and change management activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to business analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry.
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Good command of Vietnamese and professional English for documentation and communication.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Requirement
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management/collaboration platforms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience in specific domains relevant to FPT IS (e.g., Finance, Banking, Government, Healthcare, ERP, CRM).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CSPO).
- Ability to create basic wireframes or UI mock-ups.
