ABC Company is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Intern Developer specializing in Business Analysis to join our dynamic team. This full-time internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring professionals with 0 years of experience to learn the fundamentals of business analysis within a software development context. You will work closely with experienced Business Analysts and development teams to understand business needs, document requirements, and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative solutions that align with our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from various stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Support the creation of process flows, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Participate in meetings with business users and technical teams to facilitate communication and understanding between business and IT.
- Help in validating solutions against requirements during testing phases (e.g., UAT support, test case review).
- Learn and apply business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices under the guidance of senior team members.
- Conduct basic data analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for process improvement.
- Contribute to the preparation of training materials and user manuals for new systems or features.
- Support project management activities by tracking tasks and reporting on progress.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to break down complex issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical and business concepts clearly.
- High level of initiative, eagerness to learn, and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Requirement
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and various methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Exposure to data modeling concepts or basic SQL querying for data analysis.
- Experience with diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io) for process mapping or system design.
- Participation in academic projects involving business analysis, system design, or process improvement.
- Knowledge of any business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
