This full-time internship offers an unparalleled opportunity for a keen learner with 0 years of experience to gain hands-on experience in understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and supporting the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with experienced Business Analysts, developers, and stakeholders, contributing to impactful projects that drive efficiency and innovation in the healthcare supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Support the creation of detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and team meetings to capture key information and facilitate communication.
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, resolve issues, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure a clear understanding of business needs and requirements.
- Help identify and document process improvements and efficiencies within existing workflows.
- Assist in quality assurance activities, including supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and practices.
- Learn and apply GHX's internal systems, tools, and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- High level of motivation, curiosity, and a strong eagerness to learn about business analysis and software development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Requirement
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with business process modeling and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Exposure to requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Prior coursework or project experience involving data analysis or SQL.
- A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and supply chain management.
