GHX Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern Developer with a specialization in Business Analysis to join our innovative team. This full-time internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of technology and business within the healthcare supply chain. The successful candidate will support our development teams by analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and assisting in the creation of impactful software solutions, contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand business challenges and objectives.
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements for software development projects.
- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for process improvement.
- Create process flows, use cases, and other analytical artifacts to clarify system behavior and user needs.
- Participate in the testing and validation of new features and solutions to ensure they meet business specifications.
- Support the development team throughout the software development lifecycle by clarifying requirements and providing business context.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical personnel.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes and tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience through academic projects, prior internships, or volunteer work demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and business analysis principles.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Preferred Requirement
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Basic knowledge of SQL or other database query languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools or techniques.
- Understanding of the healthcare industry or supply chain concepts.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with requirements management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
