About the Job
UCTalent Labs is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager - test 4 to join our innovative team. This full-time role is crucial for expanding our headhunting services within the dynamic Web3 ecosystem. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. With a minimum of 1 year of experience, you will play a key role in connecting top-tier Web3 talent with leading companies, contributing directly to our company's success and market presence. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and potential clients requiring headhunting services within the Web3 space (e.g., blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFTs, DeFi, DAOs).
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to engage with prospective clients through various channels, including cold outreach, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their talent acquisition needs and positioning UCTalent Labs as a valuable partner.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of Web3 industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential client needs to inform business development strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that articulate the value proposition of UCTalent Labs' specialized headhunting services.
  • Negotiate contracts and close new deals to meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the recruitment and marketing teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status within the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on business development performance, market feedback, and strategic insights to management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Demonstrable understanding and genuine interest in the Web3 industry, including blockchain, cryptocurrency, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and DAOs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in previous roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with potential clients quickly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Requirement
  • Direct business development or sales experience within the Web3 industry.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, or executive search services.
  • A strong professional network within the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and client interactions.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and client requirements.
