About the Job
uctalent labs is seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in understanding business needs, analyzing processes, and translating requirements into actionable insights for our development teams. With at least 2 years of experience, you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and successful project delivery. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects without direct management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements from various stakeholders using appropriate techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Perform detailed business process analysis, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements and solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes, and other relevant documentation.
- Facilitate effective communication between business users, product managers, developers, and QA engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the quality assurance team in defining test cases and validating solutions against requirements during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making, identify trends, and measure the impact of implemented solutions.
- Assist in project planning, scope definition, and change management activities.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and collaboration tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Requirement
- Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or other industry-recognized BA certifications.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
- Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Prior experience in the software development or SaaS industry.
