About the Job
UCTalent is seeking an enthusiastic and driven entry-level Business Analyst to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for recent graduates with 0 years of experience, offering a foundational role in requirement elicitation, solution development, and project facilitation. You will support various stages of the project lifecycle, from understanding client needs to assisting with implementation and user training, ensuring effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role has no management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- 1. Requirement Elicitation and Analysis
- Support in conducting requirement surveys based on project and client specifications.
- Assist in client discussions to understand core business needs.
- Contribute to analyzing and documenting current operational pain points.
- 2. Solution Development and Documentation
- Collaborate with project development teams to create preliminary solutions.
- Utilize tools such as Mock-ups, Design diagrams, etc., to illustrate proposed solutions.
- Support in Producing and finalizing comprehensive Functional Specification (FS) documents.
- 3. Project Facilitation
- Participate in project development activities, including liaising with design teams for product interface design.
- Assist in articulating project logic to development engineers and system architects.
- Support test engineers in executing system tests per requirement documents.
- 4. Document Preparation
- Co-author Use Cases, User Guides, and other project-related documentation in collaboration with project team members.
- 5. Client Engagement and Post-Implementation Support
- Assist clients in conducting user acceptance tests.
- Contribute to facilitating smooth transition processes for new and existing systems post-implementation.
- Assist in conducting user training sessions as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or related fields; alternatively, a degree in English and/or Chinese with exceptional spoken proficiency.
- Proficiency in English, with exceptional listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Proficient in office automation tools, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage concurrent tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical, communication, and learning abilities, enabling quick comprehension and exploration of client requirements.
Preferred Requirement
- Chinese speaker is preferred even if no previous experience.
- Prior experience in overseas study or work is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Miro.
