hellobaby is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Freelance Business Analyst with 1 year of experience to join our growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual contributor to apply their analytical skills to various projects, helping us bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement or new opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements for development teams.
- Participate in project planning, requirements elicitation, and solution design sessions.
- Support the development and testing phases, ensuring solutions align with initial business objectives.
- Assist in creating documentation, training materials, and user guides as needed.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Junior Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
- Demonstrated understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, freelance capacity.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- A portfolio or examples of past business analysis work (e.g., requirement documents, process flows) is a plus.
Preferred Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in the e-commerce or childcare industry is a bonus.
